Hi and thanks for dropping by, I am Ron Windred and I have the privilege and pleasure to live and work with my wife Sue at our place Akasha Keep, which is located in the Somerset region of SE Queensland. For want of a better explanation, we operate a New Age Spiritual centre from here that is dedicated to teaching and healing.
I have been fascinated with Metaphysics and New Age thinking since leaving school. Way back in the early seventies I learnt TM as taught by Marahishi Mahesh Yogi and then along the way I picked up an interest in vibrational therapies.
During the nineties I found myself on a "Spiritual Quest" so to speak – devouring books, attending workshops and informal classes, and investigating many other forms of meditation.
As if guided I found myself leaving Sydney and heading to Queensland. Every time Sue and I found ourselves in the area we now live and work from, we felt a special sort of affinity and you could say that Great Spirit led me to my current home and workplace in 1999.
Soon after, Great Spirit again seemed to be placing things on my path. I kept getting the name Akasha Keep in my head, well actually it was just the name Akasha and soon a spiritual mentor and friend added the Keep. Before much longer I found myself conducting informal Spiritual Development classes.
I was compelled to learn Reiki and soon became a Reiki Master. Then Crystals were talking very loudly to me and I undertook study with The International Academy of Vibrational Therapies and a Metaphysical diploma with The International Metaphysical Ministry.
It is from here that I feel my difference story begins. We formally started our centre and I was able to work with clients and began teaching small classes of students.
